Soon after starting to photograph the cranes of Vancouver, I realized you could point the camera in any direction and find cranes.
This is the site of the Olympic Village (2010 Winter Olympics). I know, there is no winter in Vancouver, so we are not actually having the winter olympics here, most of it is happening somewhere far away in the mountains. These so-called green olympics have swallowed a billion dollars to widen the road to Whistler. Renovations featured blasting right through Eagle Ridge Park. Goodbye Eagle Ridge. Welcome big new highway. Hello Green Olympics.
The billion dollar renovation on the highway will shorten the trip from Horseshoe Bay to Whistler by fifteen minutes.
