My 2006 novel, ManBug, is dedicated to Dorje Trollo, the crazy wisdom form of Padmasambhava, and was nominated as one of three selections for fall 2006 at the Lit Blog Co-op.  It was also nominated as a book of the year by ForeWord Magazine (USA) and short-listed for novel of the year by the ReLit Awards (Canada).

In late 2007 I was the writer in residence at the Berton House Writers' Retreat in Dawson City, Yukon.

My new novel,  Like Gods,  takes place in Vancouver in the summer of the year 2000 and is concerned with personal history,  geography, desire, and whatever else cannot be avoided.
